What are the eligibility requirements to become a patient of House Calls KC?

​If getting to the doctor's office is too taxing, physically difficult, or if the patient is completely bed bound, the patient qualifies for our service. A house call visit is likely covered by the patient's insurance in the same manner as an office visit.

What is the cost?

We accept Medicare and most other insurances. Similar to in-office doctor's visit, the patient is responsible for deductibles and co-pays during time of visit. We require a credit or debit card on file for patients who have not met their deductible.

​Will you visit me in the hospital?

​Unfortunantly, we do not follow patients during their hospital stay, however, we will resume care upon discharge and assist with re-initiation of any home health services as needed.

 

Will my house call provider be my primary care doctor?

Dr. Golfinopoulos as well as any of the practitioners with House Calls KC may act as your primary care provider. We will work closely with any specialists, home health providers, or other members of your health care team. 

 

What if I live in a living facility or group home?

We can visit you anywhere we are needed: private residences, group homes, assisted living facility, retirement community, etc.
